On Friday, June 3, Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts locations will hand out free doughnuts to customers.
Krispy Kreme says this in a press release: "The free doughnut offer is good for one doughnut of any variety per customer at participating U.S. Krispy Kreme retail shops. Visit our store locator page atwww.krispykreme.com to find a participating Krispy Kreme location near you." No other purchase is necessary.
Dunkin Donuts also is participating in the giveaway, but customers must purchase a beverage to get the free doughnut. There are locations in Newport News, Hampton, Chesapeake, Yorktown and Norfolk.Locally, there are Krispy Kreme stores in Hampton and Virginia Beach.
