The "new members" thread on AFC may be of some help to you:

Hi and Welcome to A Full Cup (AFC)! This thread is here to guide you as you are learning your way around our site.

In the upper right hand corner of the page you will see:
Your user name: if you click on it you will be taken to your profile
Settings: a link to your personal profile settings (also known as your user control panel). You will be given access to your networking, settings & options, private messages, subscribed threads, moderation, miscellaneous, your notepad, and blog.
Inbox: a link to your Private Message box. When you have a new, unread message the word Inbox will be in bold and there will be a number in parenthesis next to the word Inbox. The number indicates the unread messages you have.
Reputations: a link to the list of Reputation (also known as Thanks) you’ve received. This lists the thread that you received thanks on, the date and time, and the user name of the person who thanked you.
Logout: click to log out of AFC

At the bottom of every page at AFC you will find a link to our Terms of Service, link to our AFC Team Members Bios Acronyms and Abbreviations. These can really come in handy when you are first learning your way around here.

If you are interested in seeing what is going on in your specific store forums click on the word Forum in the blue bar along the top of the page. When you click on the word Forum a list of all of our different forums will be brought up. You can scroll through the list, find a forum you want to visit and click on it. While you are first learning your way around here at AFC this is a great way to find out the information about the stores you have and keep from being overwhelmed. You can also learn a lot about the ins and outs of saving money at your favorite stores.

If you just want to see what the latest chatter at AFC is hover your pointer over the word "Forum" in the blue bar along the top of the page. You will see a list of options that appear. Click on the word "New Posts". This will pull up the latest posts. The posts at the top have the most recent responses in them. The name of the thread is on the left side and the name of the forum that the thread was started in is listed on the far right side.

“Thanks” is a great way to thank someone for something they posted. In the bottom of each post you will see the word "Thanks" (you will not see it on your own posts, only posts by other members). This is just our way of telling each other thanks for posting! You can click thanks for any reason. If the person who posted helped you, inspired you, or it was just something you agreed with you can hit the Thanks button. Your username will display under that post. This will let them and everyone who reads the thread know that you appreciated the post.

For more information please check out this AFC 101 forum. There is a lot of good information there.

If you have questions and want to contact a member of the AFC Team post in Contact Us. That thread is only viewable by the person who started the post and the AFC team members.

AFC members are a very friendly and helpful bunch. So start reading everything you can, learn your way around, and ask questions if you need any help. We’re glad you’re here.
